What personal data does WebHare process?
Personal data that you provide on our websites or that are recorded to log in to the systems that WebHare bv makes available to its customers, will only be used by WebHare bv for the purpose for which you provided them.
For example, we process personal data when creating a WebHare account, GitLab account and also collect personal data to be able to contact essential contact persons in the event of issues of which the owner should be aware. In addition, we process content that is entered by users themselves, for example because you use forms in your content.
For what purposes is the data processed?
WebHare processes this personal data for the following purposes:
- to enable you to use WebHare;
- to enable you to use GitLab issue tracker;
- to view statuses of ongoing projects or hourly bundles;
- to make changes to the DNS of domain names;
- to enable us to contact you in cases of account management, privacy or technical matters;
- at your request in the services you use with us, e.g. forms used in the content;
- to be able to log in to our systems and to prevent abuse;
- to enable backups.

Legal basis
We handle your data with the utmost care and work in accordance with the Dutch General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), or "Algemene verordening gegevensbescherming (AVG)" in Dutch.
To which third parties could the data be provided?
When you have domain names with us, they must be registered in your name. These are contact details of a person and the organization. For this it is necessary to provide contact details to the domain name registrars. Registrars may be located outside the EU.
Retention periods
WebHare bv does not keep personal data any longer than necessary to perform the task you have provided them for. After this they are deleted. The data will be deleted immediately when you terminate all services with us. The data will still be available in backups for a maximum of 3 months. If necessary, we are still able to retrieve the data during this period.
The remaining data is anonymized and will only be kept for statistical purposes. That data will no longer be traceable to you.
Since we process your contact details on the basis of your consent, you can also withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us.
Security of personal data
WebHare bv takes appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against loss or any form of unlawful processing. We do this, among other things, by our information security management system (ISO 27001 certification).
Rights
You have the right to view your personal data that WebHare processes and to have your data changed or deleted. You also have the right to object and the right to restriction and data portability. If you would like to do so, please contact us using the details below.

External services and APIs (such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram) may be used for your WebHare products. You can find their Terms, Conditions and Privacy Statements here.
Changes of privacy statement
If we change our privacy statement, we will post the updated privacy statement on the website. Changes will take effect as soon as the new privacy statement is posted. If necessary, we will ask you to agree to the new privacy statement.
